Aven Ecology is an independent ecological consultancy offering quick, cost-effective and thoughtful solutions to a wide range of ecological issues and survey requirements whilst securing the optimum outcome for the environment.
Our partners have over 30 years’ combined experience in the field and are both full members of the
Chartered Institute of Environmental and Ecological Management (CIEEM).
We provide a complete and thorough service from baseline survey for habitats and protected species to ecological appraisals and impact assessments, habitat management plans and mitigation strategies. Our specialist services include surveys and mitigation in relation to bats, great crested newts, badgers, reptiles, barn owls, dormice, water voles and otters.
We offer professional support to clients through the planning, licensing and BREEAM accreditation processes to achieve successful ecological outcomes, enabling them to progress their projects in a timely and cost-efficient manner. We have delivered projects for a wide range of clients from private property owners, charities, architectural firms and public sector bodies. We are also able to offer specialist advice to environmental consultancies, and step in to provide survey support where needed.
